We FORM, We INFORM, We TRANSFORM!

Welcome to the Sunday School Program of the First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden!

We invite everyone to participate in this vital arm of our Church. Sunday School is a cornerstone of our collective and individual Faith Journey.  It is here that we acknowledge our ownership of John Wesley’s Legacy of Christian Education as an imperative for defining who we are as Christians and as Methodists.

WE BELIEVE that Education is as natural in life as breathing.  It is a constant! Education refreshes our hearts and minds, renews our resolve, and restores our confidence in our personal ability to live a life that pleases God.  Neither age nor circumstances ever satisfies our thirst for knowledge.  It is a natural progression for Christians to seek a clearer understanding of our purpose in life through study of the Bible, its timeless teachings and its promises.   The more we know, the more receptive we are to the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Sunday School at our Church is an opportunity for everyone to learn and grow in the Spirit.  It is definitely a “means of Grace”.
