Ages infant-5th Grade
Children play an essential role in our church family. To support their spiritual development, we provide age-appropriate programs for children from birth to fifth grade. Our aim is to create an environment centered on the Bible and the significance of serving God, their community, and others.
Sunday Morning Worship-9:00am
Children's Sermon
During the 9:00am worship service a brief story or lesson is shared at the altar area. All children are invited to participate.
In the Pews
Busy Boards are available at the back entrance of the church for children to take back to their pew.
Sunday SPARK-10:40am
Sign In & Drop Off
Drop off starts at 10:40am. If your child is age 0-3 they will be in room 112. If your child is 3 years to 5th grade they will be dropped off in room 114
SPARK Worship
Children will begin the morning with worship music in room 114.
Age Specific Small Groups
After worship times, children will break out into small groups with lessons geared towards their specific age.
Our Director of Children's Ministry-Elyse Grossman
Elyse Grossman is our Director of Children's Ministry. Daughter to a pastor and air force senior master sergeant, she grew up in the Tampa Bay area and graduated from USF with a Math Education Degree. While in Tampa she was a children's/youth leader and a high school math teacher. She spent three years as the program coordinator at Warren Willis Camp and Conference Center. Elyse married her husband, Sam, in 2018 and they now have two daughters, Lily and Bella. When not working, you can find them at local restaurants, playing games or watching movies.
Norton's Nursery
We offer childcare for your little ones in room 112 (Norton's Nursery), from birth to age 3, during all worship services, Sunday School, Wednesday night programs, and most other church events.
Seasonal Opportunities
From VBS to our Family Christmas Eve Service there's always something happening at SPARK. Keep an eye on our calendar, the upcoming events page, and either our facebook or instagram accounts for up to date info.
Volunteer for SPARK
Volunteers are always needed to help our children explore their faith and develop a community of support. Commitments range from one-time event volunteers to reoccurring small group leaders.
