Sundays at Winter Garden
First United Methodist Church has been a spiritual presence in the heart of Winter Garden for more than 130 years. As the city has grown, so has the church in its commitment to put our faith in action by making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Traditional Worship
9:00 am service
This service blends traditional liturgies, creative worship arts including organ, our Chancel Choir, our "Christ Carillon" hand bell choir, instrumental ensembles, and the Word of God in scripture and sermon. Communion is celebrated during this service on the first Sunday of each month
Norton's Nursery
Childcare is available in the Nursery during both Sunday worship services for ages 0-3.
Courtyard Connection
10:00 am
A Fellowship Time where, fruit, donuts, tea, water, juice and coffee are made available in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great time to meet and connect with new people as well as meet with old friends in our newly renovated Courtyard!
Small Groups are available at different times throughout Sunday morning and during the week.
Contemporary Service
10:45 am service
Our Praise Team leads the congregation with upbeat contemporary Christian music and praise songs. Large media screens in front of the Sanctuary are used to show scripture, song lyrics, sermon illustrations, videos, and more. Dress is casual. Communion is celebrated during this service on the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday SPARK
Drop off starts at 10:40am. If your child is age 0-3 they will be in room 112. If your child is 3 years to 5th grade they will be dropped off in room 114 where they will begin the morning with worship music. After worship times, children will break out into small groups with lessons geared towards their specific age.
