When a loved one dies, the church’s role is to walk alongside you to provide spiritual and practical guidance. If you wish to schedule a funeral or memorial service, please contact Joan Dyer.

Planning a Service

While funerals and memorial services acknowledge grief, they are also about celebrating the deceased's life and legacy. Our goal is to combine the joy that accompanies fond memories and the hope we have because of God's promise of eternal life.

We will work with you and the funeral home to establish a date and time for the service at the church, funeral home, or the graveside. Before the service, family members meet with our pastor to plan the service, including hymns, scripture passages, or other elements that will make the service more personal for the family.

Memorial Garden

Members of the church and their immediate family may wish to consider our Memorial Garden Columbarium, a beautiful open-air structure on the church grounds behind our Chapel. Composed of niches that contain cremated remains, each niche includes a name plaque with the deceased's name, birth year, and year of death. Interment can be done before or after a memorial service or at a separate time. Click here for more information.
